Important Information for Filing a Claim
To ensure your claim is processed efficiently, please include clear photographs of the damage. These should include both close-up images of the affected areas and full shots of the entire item. Supporting documentation such as receipts, proof of value, manuals, appraisals, or repair estimates may also help speed up the review process.
Please note: Do not initiate repairs, make purchases, or enter into any agreements for replacements without prior written authorization from Tiger Moving LLC. The company is not responsible for any costs or obligations incurred without prior approval.
Submitting a claim does not guarantee it will be accepted or settled. Claims cannot be finalized until all outstanding charges for services rendered are paid in full. The insurance provider may choose to inspect the damage, and claims for damages that cannot be substantiated may be denied.
If you purchased Full Value Protection, our liability is limited to the actual cash value of the affected item(s), including furniture and boxes packed by our team, less any applicable deductible. Structural damage claims are subject to a $150 deductible.
Please consult the Terms and Conditions relevant to your move for specific timelines related to claim submissions.
For claims based on weight coverage, be sure to include the weight of each item you're claiming. Additional details such as the manufacturer, purchase date, and supporting receipts can also be helpful and may shorten the review period.
Claims are typically processed within 30 to 60 days.
